We offer Urgent Care 6 Days A Week
When your pet is in distress, it can be challenging to think clearly. Pet owners want the best for their pets, including seeking the treatment they need. Until recently, there weren’t many options for veterinary services, but Elwood Animal Hospital is excited to offer urgent care for pets.
Urgent Care Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8am – 7pm
- Saturday: 8am – 2pm
Check-in Information
- Please note that the last appointment is typically taken 30 minutes before closing.
Important: We prioritize cases based on the severity of concerns, and it’s not strictly “first come, first served.” Patients with critical concerns may be seen first.
Appointment Scheduling
Urgent Care appointments can be booked online or by phone. If same-day times don’t appear online, please call us, as our team may still be able to find an opening for your pet.
Please note that a higher fee may apply for work-in appointments when our schedule is at capacity.
Appointment times may also be adjusted if a life-threatening emergency requires immediate attention.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks and Care Credit, which can be applied for online prior to your appointment. Please Note: Urgent care visits incur a higher fee than traditional appointments, because urgent cases require immediate attention, specialized medical resources, and dedicated staff to ensure your pet receives prompt, high-quality care.
